At the beginning of the day your local guide / driver (English speaking) will pick you up at your hotel in Lisbon and will take you to a full day private tour of Sintra and surrounded areas, including Cascais and Estoril villages.

Discover this wonderful historical area by visiting Sintra village, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Sintra is one of the most charming fairy-tale places in Portugal where you will find unique palaces, monuments and gardens of rare beauty. Take your time visiting the gorgeous Pena Palace and gardens and the Quinta da Regaleira with its a luxurious park that features lakes, grottoes, wells, benches, fountains, and a vast array of exquisite constructions. Walk through the charming Sintra village and enjoy the free time to visit local shops.

Then your local guide / driver will take you to Roca Cape, the westernmost point of Europe offering stunning views of the Atlantic coast to which the Portuguese cuisine is profoundly linked. Keep enjoying the view from the Atlantic coast passing by the Hell’s Mouth and the impressive dunes of the Guincho beach.

Before leaving you at your hotel at the end of your tour, you still have time for a stop at the fishing and historical village of Cascais and pass by the delightful historical village of Estoril. The former fishing village of Cascais was a resort for Portugal’s royal family in the late 19th century and early 20th century and therefore the architecture is not to be missed. In Estoril see the Casino that inspired Ian Fleming to write Casino Royale.

No meals or entrance fees are included. In the middle of the day tour we stop in a typical Portuguese restaurant where you can taste the best of the Portuguese gastronomy.

The Sintra daytrip sightseeing private tour can be tailored to suit your interests.

If history and natural beauty are your passions, this Sintra tour is for you!
